Debenhams is a leading international, multi-channel retailer trading out of over 240 stores across 27 countries.
The retail giant already worked with Altius’ client services team for their Supplier Health & Safety Compliance, but faced a new problem – in-store incident reporting. After extensive research into ‘out of the box’ incident reporting systems, Debenhams realised they were never going to be able to satisfy their requirements with a generic system.
With an existing relationship already in place, Debenhams were aware of Altius’ past services and software solutions across various sectors so asked if it was possible to build a bespoke system that could be tailored to their needs. Altius were already well equipped to deal with such a request and developed a company-specific module for in-store incident reporting.
With operational store buy-in, Debenhams is beginning to roll the Altius system out through their UK stores, in order to monitor accidents and incidents. The system will give real-time visibility and audit-trail of all incidents allowing the retailer to uphold their corporate responsibilities.
After implementation of the trial system, Debenhams contacted several stores to obtain feedback.
